BOMA International is encouraging the commercial real estate industry to participate in the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Earth Hour 2015. To take part in the annual initiative, the WWF asks individuals, businesses, organizations and governments around the world to turn off all non-essential lighting for one hour at 8:30pm local time on Saturday, March 28. The aim of Earth Hour is to visibly demonstrate a commitment to creating a sustainable future for the planet and to finding solutions to environmental challenges.

The event provides commercial building owners and managers a prime opportunity to showcase their commitment to energy conservation.  Plan ahead and coordinate with the appropriate personnel within your buildings to ensure all non-essential lighting is off during the designated time.  Promote Earth Hour within your property to build tenant awareness and participation.  Learn more at www.earthhour.org.
