We invite you to be a part of our expanding and dynamic organization. BOMA Greater Cleveland has three main membership categories:  Building Members (further defined as Urban, Suburban and Special Purpose Buildings), Professional Members and Associate Members.

Building Membership dues are determined by the type of membership and building size and are assessed on a calendar year basis.  There is also a one-time $200 application fee.  Beginning October 1st, BOMA Greater Cleveland offers a “15 for 12” campaign.  The campaign provides the remainder of the current membership year at no additional cost beyond the membership dues for the following year.

Professional Membership dues are $1,000 and are assessed on a calendar year basis.  There is also a one-time $200 application fee.  Beginning July 1st, membership dues are $1,400 and include the remainder of the current year and all of next year ($400 for current year & $1,000 for next year).  Beginning October 1st, BOMA Greater Cleveland offers a “15 for 12” campaign.  The campaign provides the remainder of the current membership year at no additional cost beyond the membership dues for the following year.

Associate Membership dues are $900 and are assessed on a calendar year basis.  There is also a one-time $200 application fee.  Beginning July 1st, membership dues are $1,275 and include the remainder of the current year and all of next year ($375 for current year & $900 for next year).  Beginning October 1st, BOMA Greater Cleveland offers a “15 for 12” campaign.  The campaign provides the remainder of the current membership year at no additional cost beyond the membership dues for the following year.

Membership Types

Urban Building Members may be any venture, partnership or corporation owning or managing commercial real estate within the Central Business District of Cleveland.  $800 base rate per building + ($.007 x Total Rentable SF) = Annual Fee.  Total Rentable SF is capped at 1,000,000 SF.  There is also a one-time $200 application fee.  Owner must maintain all buildings within the Central Business District as members.

Suburban Building Members may be any venture, partnership or corporation owning or managing commercial real estate outside of the Central Business District of Cleveland but within Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake or Lorain Counties.   $750 base rate per owner + $50/building + ($.005 x Total Rentable SF over 10,000 SF) = Annual Fee.  Total Rentable SF is capped at 1,000,000 SF.  There is also a one-time $200 application fee.  Owner must maintain all Suburban buildings as members.

Special Purpose Building Members may be any venture, partnership or corporation owning or managing commercial real estate associated with, but not limited to governmental, educational, hospital, cultural, non-profit or research organization.  Dues are $800 and are assessed on a calendar year basis.  There is also a one-time $200 application fee.

Industrial Building Members may be any venture, partnership or corporation owning or managing industrial real estate within Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake or Lorain Counties.  $750 Base Rate + $50/campus + ($.001* Total rentable SF)= Annual Fee. There is also a one-time $200 application fee. Total Rentable SF is capped at 1,000,000 SF.

Associate Members may be any company that provides services or supplies to the commercial real estate industry.  This includes those firms duly registered in the professional practices of architecture, engineering, appraisal, etc.   Prospective members must have been in business at least one year and have three (3) letters of reference from current BOMA Members– two (2) Building Members and one 1) Associate Member or three (3) Building Members.
